We got back from our wonderful Michigan trip on Saturday, and I was back at work today, where I was greeted by scheduling nightmares, faculty problems, and student complaints (complete with parents in tow).
God, I miss vacation already.
So here is my favorite video from our trip. It’s totally crazy, but it always makes me smile. Warning: you may want to turn down the volume on this before playing, especially if you’re at work or some other kind of public place.
Though you can’t tell from this video, j’s language is coming along really well. We think we’re experiencing a sort of a language explosion these past few weeks. We’ve got the nouns, the pronouns, the verbs, the adjectives, the adverbs, the conjunctions, the prepositions, the interjections, and best of all--the sentences! He’s also getting adept at negotiation. (You want this one? Or that one? This one? Or that one? This one? OK!) Of course, all negotiations hinge upon one’s wanting “this one,” not “that one.”
