I’m currently revising the first draft of the final chapter of my dissertation. (I fear this may make you think I’m almost done--if only that were true! I will have to go back and revise it all in November and December. But my goal is to submit the first draft of this last chapter to my advisor this week.)
This chapter is by far the hardest one. I’ve been moving and adding, moving and adding for weeks.
Overheard this morning in our home office:
Me (Sighing): “This is just so hard.”
P (Laughing): “Well, it’s not supposed to be easy.”
As always, the man has a point. And with that, I provide a link to this article about how, if you enjoy writing, you best keep it to your own damn self if you're around me. It about sums up my feelings this morning.
