I got these tulips at our local store; they're shown here in the newly painted (thanks to P) kitchen.
We got a chance to get outside this past weekend and do a little bit (a VERY little bit) of yardwork. I trimmed the two enormous bushes next to the entrance of the house since they were hanging over the walk and making it difficult to walk past them. Then I cleared a path underneath and between the two bushes so it would be just big enough for a certain two-and-a-half-year-old to run through and use as a hiding spot.
